Hi Amy
I always had a fond feeling of the Skipper and Tomahawk. The Skipper and Tomahawk where built under a different set of values than the 150 airframe was based upon. The Skipper and Tomahawk shared the T tail to give people the feeling they where flying a bigger airplane in its characteristics. The two airplanes share a roomier cabin and have a low wing design for all of those reasons. The 150/150 is still just a Cessna 150 that is nose heavy, with a cramped cabin at best, sucks more fuel not much faster than a standard 150 but boy do they climb and some of them I have seen have overheating issues but those can be addressed. If you find the desire to own a Skipper someday go for it. I think they are a wonderful little airplane and parts for the owners I know have never been an issue of yet. Good Luck and pursue your dreams!!!
