Probably not.
You would need to look at your EQUIPMENT LIST that is applicable to your year/model 150.
In this list are several categories:
R-Required items of equipment for FAA certification
S-standard equipment items
O-optional equipment replacing required or standard items
A-optional equipment items which are in addition to required or standard items

My 1973 "L" model lists "controls, dual (wheels,pedals, and toe brakes)" but does not have a listing for a single control option, so being a standard item with no alternate configuration offered by Cessna that a buyer could "opt" for, Dual controls appear to be required.
It MAY be possible to remove one set, but you would probably have to remove that side rudder pedals as well, and revise your W&B. I have no clue if this would be a FAA 337 or allowed, because I really never considered removing one side of the controls- besides, I often fly from the right side seat.....
