Took my new GoPro Strut Mount out for a little flight test today. It works completely as advertised.
It's sturdy.
It won't scratch the paint.
It hangs in there at yellow line, and a little beyond
It rides through the bumps
It ain't yellow.
I recommend this product.
An excellent mount for the GoPro, or any other small still or video camera.
I'm very happy.

Brenda, just read your post (finally). You can mount a Contour to it. You just need a tripod mount. I'm pretty sure it won't fit a Cub though.
