I left home (Chicago) in 1981 and moved to West Tennessee (Dyersburg). I can say I do not miss home. I know the area well that you're talking about. I think it is a very nice area, and many small airports with the friendliest people...
I did many approches into Blytheville when I owned my Bonanza and was doing my IFR training...
