I've always figured:
Loaning money causes amnesia. 
And NEVER loan out your boat, airplane, race car or girlfriend/wife!
Because... no matter which one you loan out, it's, (most definitely) possible to
throw-a-rod in any of them!
Or as Ed Pataky would say, "Oh My!"
