. The "newer" ones just aren't as good as the older ones or the 260SE for that.
Reminds me of a group of flying missionaries that passed through Tonopah Nevada several times a year. Heading for, or returning from, training in the Idaho back country. They flew older 206's and 180's. One time they came through with a brand new 206 that a Cessna dealer allowed them to try out. After taking it into the back country and putting it through it's paces, they decided to return it. Thanks, but no thanks! They explained that it was pretty. It was really comfortable. But could not hold a candle to their older 206's when it came right down to performance.
