One comment I heard that has lots of merit is you want the tent facing sideways so the rain and dew isn't dripping on it off the back edge of the wing.

At Clinton last year I camped for the first time and had an airmattress and a tarp under the tent so I'm not sure a floor is absolutely necessary, but it would improve the product and help keep bugs out.

To me it looks more like a place to take a nap than to camp.
