I have the old Radio Shack Special. Its the 4 x 4 external amplified speaker in a enclosed case. Its 12v and plugs in the lighter. I mounted it in the rear on the quarter panel behind the rear child seat I have in my 1968 150H. It has 2 screw knobs on it that screw into the bracket and can be easily removed in a matter of seconds! Black in color. I think I paid $19.95. I also have it wired in to my Monroy Traffic Avoidance ATD300 Unit for voice alerts. It is extremely Loud!! Works fine for me and does not effect the compass seeing it is in a enclosed case and not mounted to any metal.
