Seriously though, this may be a limiting factor on sales. If you only have 12/24 planes featured. Surely, those who have a plane featured would be interested. Outside of that, it may be a challenging market.

I like what the Keystoners did with their calendar. And I'm sure all those guys/gals will enjoy that calendar. The calendar will have more meaning and success if produced for different areas of the country, or different groups. Maybe this idea will spread.

I, by no means, have ANY marketing experience. So, this is just an opinion.

Thanks for all the good feedback, folks.

Kyle, your point is well taken....

Another option; you can fit up to 15 photos PER MONTH on the colage (12x15=180 photos of planes) though they'd be smaller...

Also, you could have a photo of you or your plane on your birthday in the actual calendar section (first come ($$$), first reserved!) giving you hundreds of other opportunities for images.

Again, we did not do it for a fundraiser because the profit margin was so small, but it is a fun thing to do and have -- even after the year is over, I will keep this calendar as a photo album of sorts.

I do think some would purchase a calendar even if it did not have a photo of them or their plane in it -- just having an exclusive calendar with Cessna 152's and 150's (to include some of your artwork, vintage advertisements, and Ce$$na promotional items from days gone by) would be intersting and compelling.

But, like you, I know nothing about marketing, Kyle! I could make a "small fortune," but the catch would be that I would have to start with a large one!

Thanks again! MM
