Actually Bob, if you had waited for a Sunday departure, there was no headwind enroute from Ft. Myers to Atlanta. Smooth flying all the way. Just a thought but, it might have been nicer in making it a (2) day trip, if necessary, and enjoying the scenery and learning about all of the features in your new plane vs doing it all in a day.

Breakfast/Brunch with the FL folks
Bartow, FL > Valdosta, GA
Valdosta, GA > McCollum/Cobb County, GA
Pick up the dog at the dog-sitter
McCollum/Cobb County > Columbus, GA
Final leg home
All-n-all, our round trip was about 970nm
