I tend to agree here. That is a LOT of age on a plane which basically HAS NOT FLOWN AT ALL.

These birds do not like to sit. Even if its been in a controlled environment there are things like upholstery cushions, carpet, engine accessories etc which do not do well just SITTING.

Anything rubber, plastic, or cloth will probably need to be looked at. Can you say Flat spotted tires?

I cringe thinking about this type of stuff. Our aircraft need to be flown, taken care of, and things REPLACED when they need to be.

I wouldn't pay more than 15 Grand for that thing as I KNOW its going to need an overhaul,and a bunch of other things repaired once I start really flying it.

Airplanes are not meant to be "collected" unless your running a museum.
