I believe it's somewhere in West Texas. Rumor has it that you live either in or near there. I'd like it very much if you'd get ahold of that guy you know who's willing to be my BB (buying buddy) and let him know that I'll call him when I'm serious about making the trip to look. Tell him to leave the latch string out and the coffee pot on. Besides, if I do get it, I'll have to get a little training in the bird, so tell him I'll probably be staying a few days.
Thanks, Wayne. My friends here think the asking price is too steep for the hours, both on the airframe and the engine. I think they're worried about the resale value. But for me, I look at what it would cost me to do the same mods to a plane and I come up well in the black on this one. Many have even recommended Citabrias and Stinsons, (153&1/2). This one really has my candle lit and dripping with wax.
We'll see what she looks like when this guy you know and I go look at this plane somewhere out where you are.
