"Fair" is truly relative in a case like this.
There's no question someone injected a massive amount of cash in this plane but few buyers, if any, will step up to the plate and reimburse the owner for his outlay of cash.
Having said that, if this is the kind of plane a person wants:
1. It's very difficult to find a low time airframe such as this and if you could:
2. It would cost this amount and probably more to to duplicate this plane and:
3. If one was to find and buy a low time 152 and duplicate this plane, there will be a massive number of pages torn off the calendar as the months roll by during the process.
Did I mention that it's all relative?????
