OK, I found a Riems 150 Aerobat for sale with the 0-240 engine in it. The engine and all accessories are new as is the paint and interior and glass (wonder what the sellers definition of new is). The seller now lives in Nevada, but the airplane is still in France. His asking price is $45,000! This is steep and I wonder how this airplane can be registered in the USA (does the French DGAC have to certify that the airplane meets all the requirements of the TC and the Title 14 CFR 23)? Modifications through 337's don't bother me much in case anyone wonders.
