Tim is a club member, but not active on the forum. I am only 60 miles away, but can't say when I could get up for a look. I agree, the radio's may be an issue. On the other hand, I don't care near as much about radio's as I used to.
So really it comes down to what the plane is worth assuming you had to put in a new nav/com/gps or something similar. That would probably set you back $4K or so for a garmin 250 or similar.
It would help folks to know where you are also (update your profile).
If you get serious about the plane and are talking to the seller and still want a look see, then I will try to get a look at it. However, don't want to burn a bunch of $5 avgas on a tire-kicking expidition.
