...and don't fly your plane out of the US with that pink copy.
EXACTLY .... the Canadian customs folks are really nice about not saying anything and letting you into their country, and then passing on a little note to the FAA on your behalf. The love letter from the FAA arrives a few weeks later notifying you of your violation!
At least, that's what a friend of mine told me who found out firsthand.
