Hi Jim. No need to bother your insurance agent. I was just curious just how tightly they split the lines. When it means they wouldn't have to pay a claim, I'd bet they could come up with something.

In fact, the only ones who fit my open pilot rider on my insurance have to have 100 tailwheel, and 25 time in type. That has to be in a 150 tailwheel, not necessarily a 150/150 tailwheel. But, let's say that Dennis Geivette pranged it, (Sorry Dennis), I would then be worried about the insurance company inventing an exclusion regarding the 150/150 conversion, too. But, if Dan Meler dings it up...Hopefully he's okay...I get a big fat check!

Insurance is a bet against yourself.
